Will you take the healing remedy of Self Love to honor your sacred Feminine cycle?

Will you take the healing remedy of Self Love to honor your sacred Feminine cycle?

“It is from the tender, powerful and brave place of self love, that we can start to live more fully.”

~ Brigit Anna McNeil

Recently I led my Feminine Mystery circle in a way that deeply honoured my Feminine cycle, by ceremonially wearing my sacred blood on my forehead.

And I noticed, and shared, as I did, how much Secret Witch fear this brought up - "what if my full expression is too much, too triggering, what if I offend my women, what if I exclude some women, what if it's embarrassing?" And I witness the same fear here, as I show up, in my full expression of Queen Witch and her Ancient Medicinal Truth, celebrating my Feminine cycle, instead of shaming it, as is culturally encouraged.

In those fears, I felt the shame instilled in us around our cycles - which is especially pertinent for the Witch who creates in a very powerful, Feminine way, in deep alignment with her cycle - and was also killed for that power. And so, it makes sense that magical ones, especially, would innocently reject their power in this way. So if you're activated by this post, then know that you're both loved in it, whilst also likely the very person this post is also potent medicine for (going into our wounds is where we find our healing gold).

You see, the very power of creation is embodied into the very fabric of our cells as women, and that's especially important for a Witch. Without the Winter of our monthly cycles - shedding and cleansing space for new beginnings - we couldn't conceive, or birth, or manifest anything. That very gift is literally naturally inbuilt into our bodies as women, and then suppressed and shamed in our modern culture. And yet, is a powerful and natural gift, contained within our bodies - and all of our wounds and our gifts are contained in our bodies, if we feel closely enough into them.

Culturally, we shame our bleed, instead of loving it - a crucial part of the creative cycle as a woman. And then we wonder why we feel powerless to create.

And so, today, I'm leaning into the Secret Witch fear of being "too much," because it feels important for my women to know that we can reclaim the honouring of our cycles as a celebration of our Feminine power TO birth whatever is in our hearts to create.  We can love ourselves enough to honour the cyclical beauty that we are.

And I love you in whatever arises as I do. Because if it is triggering, there's likely a deeply medicinal remedy here for you, both in your loving of your creative power and in owning your full expression. So, the invitation is always to choose it as that; as healing for your own shame and the edges of yourself that you don't love enough to express. And to begin to celebrate yourself and your Feminine power, too.

You can do this by beginning to love yourself a little bit more, consciously bringing love to the parts of yourself you're shaming. That's always the first step.

Will you take the healing remedy of love, so you can begin to express yourself more fully and create what you long for?
