I’m done with mistrusting my heart
After 2 months off, travelling to Bali and really FULLY choosing to listen to and honour my tender, wild, Feminine heart’s deep (often scary and wild) calls to magic, I have a LOT to say about where we create from…
You see, the fiery part of me is getting tired of the conditioning that runs deep from the patriarchal lens. The conditioning that has been (innocently, I say this with love) ‘squashing’ the beautiful gifts of the Feminine.
🌙 Her magic.
🌙 Her mystery.
🌙 Her capacity for holding paradox.
🌙 Her rhythms and cycles.
🌙 Her ability to fully FEEL, WELCOME and ACCEPT everything as it is.
Because we are told in this culture that we have to “KNOW” things with certainty. To base our choices on future forecasting, on logic, on something solid that we ‘think’ we can predict. To ignore our bodies, and push past their signals. To shame and shove down our wild emotions.
So we run around life feeling ANXIOUS, DEPRESSED, STRESSED, thinking that our lives DEPEND on all this anxious predicting - that it ‘keeps us SAFE’, and suppressing our truth.
But the truth is, it doesn’t keep us safe: it keeps us ANXIOUS.
And, really, we’ve just been culturally conditioned to trust LOGIC over MAGIC.
We’ve been taught that our ‘inner witch’ (and her magic) isn’t welcome, that our Feminine healer - who loves and trusts the mystery of her heart - isn’t as ‘valid’.
We’ve been told to ‘create more’ and ‘ do more’ in order to be VALID in this world. The gifts of the Masculine, preferred, over the Feminine’s magic.
I’m over it… And I’m feeling passionate about this reclamation for our culture. I’m feeling the inner fire rising within to help women reclaim this Feminine magic. 🔥
What breaks my heart - even in my own journey recently - is that our cultural conditioning means we are completely devoid of how to connect to our tender heart and her wisdom and knowing of what’s truthfully aligned for us in our wisdom.
We may not even often let ourselves HEAR our heart’s mysterious calls to magic, to the Feminine’s softer way, to manifestation, to wisdom - to what’s true for us, due to fear. Instead, often I hear women say say “but this isn’t safe / won’t work / can’t be trusted because it’s not logical”.
Aka - we will choose the ‘safer’ option:
🖤 The option to shove down our burning inner nudges to our magic and not hear them
🖤 The option to prioritise others’ needs over our own heart’s deep pleads to a new way
🖤 The option to keep our money in our bank accounts ‘just in case’ we aren’t safe
🖤 The option to plough through our ‘to-do’ list instead of creating space to listen to wisdom
🖤 The option to ignore and numb our bodies, shaming their hidden messages
I get it - because, when we open our hearts, the Feminine will call us home to truth.
And that’s what had our ancestresses burned at the stake. 💔
But it’s time to change the narrative - and embrace the Feminine and her magic.
It can play out in answering the call to a journey into your magic. Luna might be secretly calling to you, yet your heart is shutting it down, ruling out the possibility for you to join and embrace this call.
So, I invite you to be courageous, Feminine one. To break through our conditioning and ask:
🌙 What does my heart say about making this journey into my Feminine magic?
🌙 Where am I blocking it to stay safe, value logic and not feel anxious?
There’s a whole new magical world of Feminine creation right here at your fingertips - a way of creating life more magically (I know you’ll doubt that - because… logic!), of possibility, of healing, Feminine wisdom.
I wonder, will you let your heart lead, and choose to access it?
It’s time to let your magic out, beauty… The world needs more liberated magical women.
