Which of the Feminine Archetypes are Calling to YOU to Reclaim your Power and Magic?

Often, my women don’t actually know they’re being called by the Feminine, let alone which archetype is calling them specifically. And so, recently, I have been exploring the various magical, Mysterious Feminine Archetypes of the Witch - and how they might each call to us during the Feminine lifecycle - in a mini series of short videos.
Our Ancestors would have typically initiated each of the phases of Maiden, Lover, Mother and Wise Woman - but as the initiation of each is lost now in our culture (which doesn’t value Feminine Mystery), the power and magic contained in each can get lost, unless it is consciously reclaimed.
Maybe you already know which ones are calling you, or maybe you’re just beginning to hear the call of each archetype - or maybe you’re not sure if you’re being called at all. If so, here’s something illuminating for you to dive into…
#1 - Are you being called by the Maiden?
The Maiden typically calls women into liberating their desire for approval, control or security. They’ll typically have learned it’s not okay to be a dreamer, becoming compliant and passive and shutting down any capacity for playful joy - or they may also be a bit of a rebel, rejecting all compliance, but wearing armor to do so. Their temptation is to stay safe in their bud, not allowing themselves to even dream, rather than bloom, so their hopes and possibilities get shut down.

#2 - Are you being called by the Lover?
The Lover typically calls women into liberating their shame around desire and pleasure - the fear that their radiance and sensuality - and their full expression, in general - is not welcome or safe to express. The woman who needs the lover will typically hide her true needs and desires, not meeting them, and feeling stuck in a mundane life, rather than living a life of magic - totally ignoring her truth, and not expressing her true self.

#3 - Are you being called by the Mother?
The Mother typically calls women into unconditional love and nurture, liberating their lack of honouring of their boundaries, self-love and self-care, as well as her capacity to honour her wild No’s and birthing projects into the world. Typically the women who need her energy have trouble filling their own cup, so that they can then nurture others from love - and this will leave them either over-tending everyone else’s needs - or the opposite; burned out and ignoring their families needs entirely.

#4 - Are you being called by the Wise Woman?
The Wise Woman typically calls women into listening to their body wisdom, slowing down and living in harmony with her cycles, as well as embracing the magic. The women who need her energy find it difficult to listen to their bodies, feel their feelings and listen to the wisdom of their Feminine cycle. There’s a lack of trust of herself, and she can also become hypervigilant, living in fear of her body.

#5 - Are you being called by the Queen?
The Queen typically calls women into their power - often it can feel like a rising into their adulthood (and so she kind of weaves into all the other ‘adult’ archetypes). The women who need to embody her energy often feel stuck and powerless, in their inner child - either in the good girl energy of the Maiden (perhaps feeling helpless), or they might swing the other way into a tyrant or rebel (claiming their power from fear).
