Are you ready to make Healing Magical again?
“As healers - and as any magical women who feel a call to becoming a healer - we have to learn to do the deepest work of all - and that is of dosing our own remedies and healing our own wounds, before we can dose others.”
~ Nicole Barton
One of the things I've been really witnessing recently is how Secret Witches (sensitive, open-hearted, spiritual and magical women who don't know, or suppress, their healing power) often come to learn magic with their typical wide-eyed Phosphoric enthusiasm - they usually start out really deeply called by all the healing modalities - perhaps reiki, or or aromatherapy, spirituality, or even homeopathy - or others.
And then, over time, they become disenchanted with whatever it is they've studied - and all of a sudden, even their craft as a healer has become mundane, and they are back in the Phosphoric healer's typical expression of burn out.
And it's innocently created; because these healers have usually learned all the healing tools and techniques, and often, especially, intellectualised them. What they've often not seen is that firstly they need to dose themselves and become fully embodied as the Witch they came here to be.
The reason it took me years to bring my unique remedy to the world is because I studied #allthethings but never fully allowed myself to look at the shadow surrounding the Witch Wounds that I struggled with that were required for me to heal for myself before I was able to show up as unapologetically magical.
The way this wound shows up, is that typically, Phosphoric women - who, by the way, were BORN here to be a unique and magical remedy for the world - lose their fiery passion, burn out from forcing and pushing and keep themselves small - and from there, close their hearts and maybe even start to mistrust that they were ever here to be a magical one in the first place.
Because of the fear of being seen as a Witch, they will have spent maybe even years trying to fit magic into a logical, linear and mundane box so that it feels more palatable to our culture, and they feel less like a charlatan.
This usually results in them becoming the equivalent of a GP with a side hustle; instead of magnetising the exact women that so desperately need and deeply DESIRE their remedy, they will spread themselves thinly, treating anyone and everyone that will grace them with believing in magic (often feeling grateful that finally someone 'gets them'!).
It is this suppression of their magic that leaves them playing small, fearing their fee and contorting into a box that they just aren't meant to fit in. Their magical practice becomes mundane. These magical, beautiful, sensitive women are left in trauma remedy states about being their gifts - including feeling a failure, feeling powerless and feeling a lot of shame about their gifts, as well as feeling like an outcast.
And this is WOUNDING. It is innocent. And it is showing them all the places that want their own healing - the *embodied* healing of their innocent shadow wounds; which is so often missing from all the magical modalities.
You see, as healers - and as any magical women who feel a call to becoming a healer - we have to learn to do the deepest work of all - and that is of dosing our own remedies and healing our own wounds, before we can dose others. (Not least because that is where we will discover exactly the remedy we truly came here to dose to the world.)
The good news is, that because this has been my own journey, its my Remedy to help heal all the magical ones in these trauma states.
And so, today, following the festival of Mabon, I give thanks to the deep healing that the Remedies of the Wild have provided me. I give thanks for what they have revealed to me, that helps me guide my healing women to allow and love and becoming their own unique remedy.
I've created the exact path for these Phosphoric magical women to learn how to work with the Wild Apothecary method to learn how to dose these very wounds, so that they can begin to open to the journey of fully becoming their unique remedy in the world - unapologetically.
Is it time to heal the disenchantment suppressing your medicine and make healing magical again - are you ready for that?
If you are, I'll be leading magical women - both already trained but disenchanted. healers, and those magical ones drawn to becoming healers - in the very tender first steps of healing their own collective Witch Wounds, in Invoke Your Wild Apothecary in November. Link is in the comments if your heart is feeling the call to join us.
