WHO EVEN ARE YOU?
One of the things that came up as I was speaking to aspiring heart-led feminine healers and leaders recently was that they find it a real challenge to answer the question "what do you do?".
Every woman squirmed in her seat at trying to answer - their challenge being to define themselves into some sort of logical, linear box that makes sense to the mundane world. A nod to having to 'get it right', perhaps from their corporate days. That and having a millionty things that they are distracting themselves from their soul purpose with
"I just don't know what my healing gifts are".
I get it. I've been there. It makes sense.
I get it even more so over the last few months, as my 'link in bio' has changed about 10 times as I *intentionally* redefine the energetic transmission I am putting out into the world. As I am getting more precise about the *exact* medicine I am here to share. As I get more clarity (and I'll be honest, it feels like I've crammed 4 years of expansion into 4 months - but that's kinda how I roll, as a witch, tbh ).
It's slightly different for me right now in that my changing of my bio is not because I don't yet know what my gifts are - I've discovered those deeply. It's just that I've chosen consciously into a powerful AF portal of transformation that's having me catapulted into the next realm and so I keep dissolving and coagulating - choosing to get deeper clarity and redefine until I'm in the deepest alignment with my soul - knowing I'll land in some tangible form that makes sense. And all the time, still owning my own definition of who I am right now.
[Side note: not so many years ago, in my ascension phase, I'd have also said a 'label' was unimportant because we were all just thought. That was a myth too: if that's you, maybe it's time to own your unique soul expression...]
The point is, even if you don't know what your soul gifts are and how to describe them - YET - we can start defining ourselves just as we are right now.
There's no *perfection* required here.
There's no 'exact one line summary' that has to be set in stone as you live into your discovery.
There's only full, TRUE EXPRESSION.
Sharing you from the truth of where you are.
That might be as simple as "Witch" (which is something I've described myself as frequently as I've been asked 'what do you do?"). Yes, I know, for many, that's a bold claim in the mundane world. It raises some eyebrows, ruffles some feathers - and starts a few conversations. Conversations I've grown to love.
The real thing to consider is this: you can embody *any* archetypal myth you'd like to - it's helpful to remember it's your choice. Your spell.
It always has been.
And that's an invitation to sharpen your focus on the secret label you *long* to claim that you're hiding from. The soulful label you'd like to honour - when asked "what do you do" - but you shy away from.
That's what we do here in our Archetypal Apothecary path - we try on different archetypal remedy personalities for size (because they will all heal us in some way). We drink their medicine, allow it to alchemise and liberate parts of ourselves we didn't know existed (because we'd shamed them into the shadows). And through that process of activating parts of our souls we'd previously hidden, we discover our unique remedy; the one core remedy we came here to heal ourselves with and serve to the world.
The one label we were born to own. That was clouded in shadow and limiting beliefs.
Without that journey of discovery of who we really are - and without the discovery of our *power* to choose it - we can get lost in feeling victim to the definition of who we are.
With that journey of discovery, we come to intimately know and own our full, unique soul expression.
It's not one that needs rushing, either. It's one to live into. So don't be holding off on defining yourself until something looks "solid". The Feminine will always evolve and expand.
